“NOTHING” LIKELY TO LAUNCH NEW ANDROID PHONE

So far, there has been the company has launched a single product, (1) TWS wireless earphones. The company is currently getting ready to launch an Android smartphone in the near future, something they have been at work on for more than an entire year. Numerous leaks as well as teasers hinted at the similar. Then, a new photo has been posted online and could be from the phone known as the Nothing.

The well-known leaker Evan Blass has shared an image on Twitter which depicts Nothing the founder Carl Pei, (previously cofounder of OnePlus) in front of the device in front of Qualcomm Chief Executive Officer Cristiano Amon. The device could be the first prototype for the Nothing phone.

It’s not surprising since it was discovered recently that Pei was a guest of some of the most powerful executive at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022 conference in Barcelona to showcase the prototype of the new phone. The image is now available of the phone.

The leak of the phone doesn’t provide much information. The picture is blurry, however we can discern that the phone does not include a fingerprint sensor on the rear. The rear panel as well as the camera module aren’t discernible. We’ll have to wait for a few weeks before we get some clarity about what the phone might appear like.

The Nothing smartphone is expected to launch early in the month of April, people with knowledge of the subject have told TechCrunch. It’s likely to be powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. In the last month, Pei posted a series of tweets that were cryptic, such as “Back on Android 12” and “Android 12 is nice.” Additionally, Android and Snapdragon also responded to the tweets using their Twitter accounts and suggests a three-way alliance.

In an interview in an interview with India Today Tech, Manu Sharma Vice General Manager and President for Nothing India, asserted that the company is working on up to 5 new items. Although he did not mention the areas, one could be smartphones. It could include earphones, power banks and other items for your lifestyle.

“For our way forward, our mission is to build for the future. We are speeding up very rapidly in terms of building a pipeline of products, we already have five products in development that we are speeding up to meet our mission of launching iconic products and we are excited about that,” Sharma said to India Today Tech.
